Why did you become a personal trainer?

  • For me, working out has served as a means to improve my confidence, mental health, body image, and old disordered eating patterns. It is more than a stress reliever- it is a tool I can use to help promote good health for years to come; a way I can engage in the activities I love with the people I love to do them with. Through my work, I want to offer others the same opportunity to improve their lives, to achieve their goals, and to ultimately become better versions of themselves. Fitness had such a profound and positive impact on my life, and I want to guide others so they can reap its benefits as well.

What is your favorite part about being a personal trainer?

  • My favorite part about being a personal trainer is being able to help facilitate positive and lasting changes in the lives of my clients. I get to witness the transformations my clients make and see their confidence improve as their body changes and they reach their goals. They are proud of the progress they have made and I am right there with them, cheering them on.

Why did you get into the Fitness and Nutrition business?

  • From my roots growing up as a farmer to now, my journey into the fitness and nutrition business has always been about service and helping people achieve their best selves, both physically and mentally. With a degree in nutrition and years of experience as a personal trainer, I have dedicated my career to understanding the intricate balance between exercise and diet. This passion was further fueled by witnessing the profound impact that a tailored fitness and nutrition program can have on someone's life, from improving their health to boosting their confidence and overall well-being. I especially love hearing stories from my clients about how they can now play and do activities with their kids and grandkids; witnessing these changes is incredibly rewarding.

What is your favorite part of working in the Fitness and Nutrition business?

  • The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the transformative results in my clients. Whether it's helping someone overcome a personal hurdle, achieve a fitness milestone, or simply feel better in their day-to-day life, these moments are what drive me. Each client has a unique story and set of goals, and being part of their journey is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, I love building friendships with my clients; the relationships we create go beyond just trainer and trainee. We work together to develop sustainable, healthy habits that last a lifetime. Witnessing their progress and knowing I’ve played a part in their success is truly my favorite aspect of working in this field.
